If you're using the Nomono Sound Capsule to capture high-quality audio while filming video, syncing the two together might seem like a challenge. But don't worry, it’s actually super simple.
In the video below, Ruben walks you through exactly how to sync your audio and video in DaVinci Resolve, but the process works just as easily in any modern video editor.
You can create a sync point manually by simply clapping your hands once your camera and the Nomono Sound Capsule are both recording. This clap acts as a visual and audio marker that helps you align your footage and audio tracks precisely.
Prefer to let the software do the work? Most editors, including DaVinci Resolve, let you automatically sync audio using waveforms. Just select your clips, pick your reference track (usually your camera mic), and hit sync. Boom! Done!
Watch the full walkthrough in the embedded video to see both methods in action.
This quick syncing process is so reliable that we haven’t yet added syncing features directly into the Nomono Cloud. That said, we're always looking to improve so if you'd love to see automated video sync in the future, drop us a line. Your feedback helps shape what we build next.
