What is Audio/Video Sync?

Audio/Video Sync is a new capability inside Nomono Studio Cloud that lets you pair professional audio recorded with your Nomono Stellar microphones to any video file, from your phone, your camera, or your desktop. Select both files, enhance the audio with our AI-powered tools, sync them and export a distribution-ready video with studio-quality sound. The whole process runs in the cloud, and you can do it from your laptop or your phone.

No extra software. No manual alignment. No clap-sync workarounds.

Why now?

Video has become the default format for content — including podcasts. According to Sounds Profitable’s The Creators 2025 report, 71% of active podcast creators now produce video. But while cameras keep getting better and publishing keeps getting faster, audio quality remains the most common failure point.

And when it comes to capture, cameras themselves can be part of the problem. Background noise in camera sound can be as loud or louder than the dialog itself, making it hard for professional sync plugins and auto alignment features to sync up recorded sound to camera scratch sound.

How it works

The workflow is simple:

1. Record clean audio with your Nomono Stellar microphones while shooting video on whatever device you prefer.

2. Enhance your audio using our AI-assisted tools – noise reduction, level balancing, echo removal and so much more.

3. Select your audio recording and video file in Nomono Studio Cloud.

4. Sync and download. Your finished video keeps its original format, now paired with studio-quality sound.

The system supports MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, OGG, and MPEG-TS. It handles recordings up to two hours long with built-in drift correction. And if your audio and video aren’t exactly the same length, it adjusts automatically, trimming excess audio or filling silence as needed.
